I love using lemon and salt to clean my cast iron skillets too. It cleans without pulling all of the seasoning out. Great idea.

Thank you, all! And Melissa - I think that's a great tip with the vinegar!

And YES, I betcha any type of citrus would work great for both cleaning and yummy aromas...Try it and let us know!

I love your sink..so pretty. I am so going to try that. Would an orange work? I throw orange peels down my disposal to make it smell fresh. The plant window is a great idea.

I could not agree with you more...Love the flowers in the kitchen window. I have a whole window box full of gorgeous blooming tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. They make me happy every time I look at them!

Omg...first of all, your farm sink! I'm in love! :) I've never heard of the lemon and salt idea...but I am certainly going to give it a try! :) One trick I use to get rid of those annoying water drop stains in our stainless steel sink...is to dip a paper towel(s) in vinegar and lay it over the water stains. Let it set for 5-10 minutes and they should wipe away easily. :)
